AI & Automation Disclosure

How Joule Post uses AI and automation

We believe readers deserve to know how their news is made. Here is exactly where automation touches our newsroom — and where it doesn’t.

What AI does

  • Discovery: automated feeds and alerts help us spot developing stories in solar, storage, policy, and markets.
  • Drafting assistance: AI tools help structure and draft articles from verified source material, and assist with research summaries.
  • Production help: formatting, headline options, and metadata suggestions.

What AI never does

  • AI never publishes on its own. There is no mass auto-publishing — every article is reviewed by a human editor before it goes live.
  • AI is never listed as an author. Every byline belongs to a real, accountable person.
  • AI output is never trusted blindly: facts are traced to primary sources, statistics are cross-checked, and analysis is the editor’s own.

Human responsibility

A human editor reviews, verifies, edits, and approves every article. The named author takes full responsibility for the published piece — including any use of AI assistance in its production, as disclosed here.

Why we disclose this

Trust is our business model. Hiding automation would be easy; telling you about it is the point.
