We correct our mistakes — visibly
We hold ourselves to a simple rule: when Joule Post gets something wrong, we fix it fast and say so openly. Readers trust outlets that correct themselves more than outlets that pretend they never err.
How to report an error
Email contact@joulepost.com with the article URL, the error, and (if you have it) the correct information or source. We review every report.
How we handle corrections
- Factual errors are corrected in the article itself, with a visible correction note at the top or bottom stating what was changed and when (e.g., “Correction, Oct 5, 2026: an earlier version misstated the project capacity as 200 MW; it is 250 MW.”).
- Minor errors (typos, formatting) are fixed silently.
- Substantial changes to a developing story are marked with an update note and a new modification timestamp — we never rewrite history or fake freshness.
- We do not unpublish articles to hide errors except in rare cases (e.g., legal or safety reasons), and any removal is noted.
Response time
We aim to acknowledge correction reports within 48 hours and publish verified corrections promptly.
